9001 ISO Certificate – PBKM

In 2004 our Central Lab in Warsaw, Poland obtained certification of the quality management system ISO 9001:2000 specific to the umbilical cord stem cell collection, storage and freezing procedures. The audit was conducted by Lloyd Register Quality Assurance.

In 2011 the Institute met the standard of MSZ EN ISO 14001: 2005 requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and also has continued to maintain compliance. The three-year certification and regular monitoring of both system is being audited by SGS Hungaria Kft.

European Association of Family Cord Blood Banks Certificate

PBKM, one of the FamiCord Group members, was awarded the certificate of European Association of Family Cord Blood Banks as the only bank from Poland. Already in 2007 our service was evaluated as compliant with the standards determined by the organization associating family cord blood banks from several European countries.
